Dr. Langone

Dr. Langone received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and is in private practice in Hampton Bays NY. Dr. Langone is Board Certified by ABPM and is a Fellow of the American College of Podiatric Medicine. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and a Past President of the AAPSM. Dr Langone is the Immediate Past President of the American Association for Women Podiatrists. She is a Distinguished Fellow of the National Academy of Practitioners. She served as the Lead Clinical Director for New York State Fit Feet of Special Olympics International. She is also a member of the Vionic VioLab and on the medical advisory board of Vimazi. Dr Langone lectures at medical conferences throughout the county, specializing in biomechanics and considers herself a biomechanics work.

Dr. Steve McClain

• Steve McClain hails from High Ridge, Missouri • BS from Missouri State University • graduated from the University of Missouri Medical School • residency at the University of Vermont • Dermatopathology fellowship at New York University • He trained under the reknowned dermatopathologist Dr. Bernie Ackerman at NYU • He is Board certified in both AP and DP and specializes in Podiatric Pathology • He is Adjunct Professor of Dermatology and Emergency Medicine at SUNY at Stony Brook with research interests in Wound Healing, Malignant Melanoma, and Pathology Informatics. • SBUH 1994-2000, then Montefiore in Bronx- then He practices dermatopathology privately in Smithtown NY, founding McClain Laboratories, LLC in 2004. • Dr. McClain is a frequent lecturer at local and national meetings. • Proud sponsor of many Podiatric conferences • Dr. McClain has authored over 100 publications. • He is PASSIONATE ABOUT PATHOLOGY!

Andrew Puckett

Lawrence A. Santi, DPM, President

Lawrence A. Santi, DPM, is the current president of the American Podiatric Medical Association. A native New Yorker with four decades of experience as a physician and surgeon, educator, and leader, Dr. Santi is focused on unity within the profession and collaboration with other physician specialties. Dr. Santi received his bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University in Queens, NY, and completed his DPM degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed residency training at Coney Island Hospital (now South Brooklyn Health) in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Santi has been in private practice in Brooklyn since 1980. He served as president of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association from 2004–2005 and was a delegate to the APMA House of Delegates. He has served on multiple APMA committees, particularly in the Health Policy and Practice arena, and has been a member of the Board of Trustees since 2013. Dr. Santi is chief of podiatric services at New York Community Hospital of Brooklyn, where he also serves as director of the Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency program.

Dr. Jessica Drzewiecki

Dr. Jessica Drzewiecki is originally from Buffalo, NY where she currently practices within the orthopaedic department of the multi-specialty group Trinity Medical WNY. She obtained her Bachelor of Science at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY prior to completing podiatry school at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine where she was valedictorian and president of the Pi Delta Podiatric Honor Society. She completed a 3-year residency with exposure to a wide range of complex pathology at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Drzewiecki is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. She enjoys treating a wide range of pathology from lateral ankle instability to forefoot deformities to complex hindfoot and ankle deformity with associated ulcerations. Dr. Drzewiecki is the proud mom to two little boys Henry & Theo and enjoys running and traveling with her boys and husband Chris in her free time.

Adam T. Bersani

Adam T. Bersani, DPM is a native of Central New York. He attended Ithaca College for his undergraduate degree and received his doctorate from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Bersani served as chief resident at Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. His experiences have him well trained in minimally invasive surgical techniques of the foot and ankle, reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, trauma of the foot and ankle, diabetic foot care, wound care, limb salvage, and general podiatric issues. Dr. Bersani is a board qualified foot and ankle surgeon. He is affiliated with Crouse Hospital, Trinity St. Josephs Health, Oswego Health, and the Camillus Surgery Center.
