Foundation mission statement:
The Foundation for Podiatric Medicine, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, was established in 1986. The mission of the Foundation for Podiatric Medicine is to offer continuing medical education, professional development and public information services.
Foundation education mission statement:
The Foundation for Podiatric Medicine’s educational mission is to promote continuing education in podiatric medicine, podiatric surgery, and practice management through workshops and seminars. Our commitment is to increase knowledge by offering every registrant the educational assistance needed to improve care for their patients and be successful in practice by promoting the benefits of scientific advancement in the treatment, prevention, and alleviation of podiatric ailments.
Foundation approval statement:
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the standards and requirements for approval of providers of continuing education in podiatric medicine through a joint provider agreement between the Foundation for Podiatric Medicine and the Western Division NYSPMA. The Foundation for Podiatric Medicine is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine. The Foundation for Podiatric Medicine has approved this activity for a maximum of 18 continuing education contact hours.
